BTMS-50% is a solid pelletized, high-activity behenyl (derived from the rape seed oil) quaternary ammonium conditioning agent, mixed with isopropyl alcohol. It is an exceptionally effective cationic self-emulsifying wax that functions as a vegetable-based viscosity increaser and emulsion stabilizer for creams and conditioners.
It is highly recommended for use in conditioners, detanglers, deep conditioning relaxers, and personal care emulsions. When mixed with cetostearyl alcohol, it allows for efficient hair conditioning blends and palm-free product claims.
